Greetings! My name is Justin Waxman, the owner & operator of Waxy’s Wonders. After growing up in south Florida, traveling across the northeast pursuing an ice hockey career, and then completing my bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in Ohio, I first moved to the Triad area in 2012 to work towards my doctoral degree at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I then spent the past four years at High Point University, where I served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Physical Therapy and later as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Exercise Science. However, I ended up resigning from my position at High Point University this past summer due to enrollment issues and budget cuts associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Two months later, Waxy’s Wonders, LLC was born!

Waxy’s Wonders is a business that provides high-quality services, including Holiday & Event Lighting, handmade custom works (tables, industrial pipe lighting fixtures, etc.), and professional consulting related to biomechanics/exercise science education and adventure travel.
